Susan 52,

I have a scaroma in my blood vessels

"After being treated for pneumonia for some weeks I landed in hospital & had a CT scan. I was told it was a Pulmonary embolism & sent home on anticoagulants. A month later I was re scanned & the embolism was still quite large but something else was showing in my pulmonary artery. I was sent for a special scan & then told I have a very rare sarcoma in the pulmonary artery & only 6 months to a year left. I was sent to a specialist hospital four hours journey from my home. The 95% of the sarcoma was removed by a specialist surgeon. I had a Pulmonary endarterectomy performed ten weeks ago & in a few weeks I start Chemotherapy to hopefully kill of the rest."

Thank you
