Pippa 48,

Myxofibrosarcoma

"So rare my sarcoma is not on the list!! Small lump on my forearm first then by the time of diagnosis had grown very very fast. Just had major surgery to remove tumour the size of a duck egg. Was prepared for amputation or the very least a virtually useless hand. 6 days post op I have amazed Drs and physio to have a lot of movement already in hand. They detached bicep and reattached, I have a vein and nerve from my leg in my arm as the tumour had grown around veins and nerves. Huge thanks to all at morriston hospital Swansea. Couldn't ask for better care. Waiting for results if I need radiotherapy. "

Thank you
