Danny 31,

Recurrent Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma

"I was first diagnosed with Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma of my Spine when I was 20, having it removed followed by radiotherapy. In January 2017 I suffered a recurrence further up my spine and into my Rib, currently received DoxIfos chemo, followed by further surgery to remove it, followed by either radiotherapy/proton beam therapy. The prognosis is positive. I'd love to be able to offer support to others and raise awareness. The most important piece of advice I could give to other patients is to never be hard on yourself for feeling unwell or unable to do things as you normally would, and to never become complacent with your symptoms, even if the disease hasn't show any sign of recurrence after a number of years. "

Thank you
